We couldn’t visit the Paris region without saying hello to Mickey, so we stayed at Disneyland Paris for 4 days.
The Davy Crockett Ranch Disneyland Paris
For this stay, we stayed at the Davy Crockett Ranch. This “hotel” requires you to have your own car as there is no shuttle service to the park. This isn’t too inconvenient as the park is only a 10-minute drive away from the hotel.
You’ll sleep in cabin-style bungalows nestled in the middle of the forest! Each bungalow is fully equipped with a terrace, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a dining area, accommodating up to 6 people.
The hotel has a shop and a small grocery store with everything you might need. However, prices are quite high, so we recommend shopping in the nearby town. There’s a park with animals, a tennis court, playgrounds for children, and a magnificent lagoon pool where we lounged every day—this is what awaits you!
The Avenger Campus
Our entry tickets were for both parks, where we also got to explore the new Avengers Campus! We had to queue to get in, and then again (for quite a while) to experience the new attractions! There are two: one based on Iron Man and another on Spider-Man. We tried the Spider-Man attraction, which is designed for younger guests too, resembling a video game with motion sensors. We even had the chance to see some superheroes!
The parks of Disneyland Paris
You can rent a stroller on-site if you forget yours, and navigating the park with a stroller is hassle-free with designated stroller “parking” at all attractions.
There are numerous dining options for lunch and dinner, including sit-down restaurants, cafeterias, snacks, and fast food, catering to all budgets.
During our visit, we packed a picnic for lunch and treated ourselves to dinner at the restaurants. Special mention goes to Toad Hall for its delicious fish and chips, and Victoria’s Tea Salon where the milkshakes are absolutely fantastic!
Disneyland Paris shows
We attended nearly all the shows at the park, which are perfect for young children. One of our favorites was the Lion King show, which was fabulous. The sets, the actors, the costumes—everything beautifully portrayed the animated movie with real actors instead of characters in costume.
“Mickey and the Magician” and “Disney Dreams” also left the little ones mesmerized! Don’t miss out on the shows during your visit to Disneyland Paris—they truly make the experience magical.
